Nedret Taciroglu was born and raised in Istanbul. She graduated with an honours degree in interior design at Mimar sinan University. The combination of her love for fashion and interior design lead to Nedret’s first collection in 1980 under her brand name NEDO. 

She quickly became a major influencer in the World of International fashion, designing, producing and exporting hand-crafted fine leather garments in the most luxurious fabrications and embellishments for clients.

In 2002 Nedret launched NEDRET TACIROGLU COUTURE. A more up market and refined collection appreciated by Turkish, International clients and Buyers. The delicate fabrics, attention to detail and romantic taste as well as its special fairy tale like cuts and accessories NEDRET TACIROGLU COUTURE was a high-end luxury brand. Every garment was hand-made using delicate fabrics such as lace, chiffon, organza and silk. The use of embellishments enhanced the impression of luxury and elegance.

In 2012 Nedret opened her boutique in Istanbul, where she introduced her ready to wear line, including evening wear, cocktail dresses and accessories. Other than her own boutique in Istanbul and by appointment, Nedo by Nedret Taciroglu is stocked in Paris, Monaco, Caserta, Panama, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Kuwait, Ryad and Jeddah.
